Friction stays and window limiters
Top-hung friction stays and side-hung window limiters, printed with the sash size they carry, the maximum weight and the opening angle — in stainless steel 201 or 304.
What the catalogue covers
A friction stay holds an outward-opening or top-hung sash at the angle you set it to. The catalogue prints each stay with a maximum sash height and width, a maximum sash weight and an opening angle, so a stay can be chosen from the sash rather than by eye.
Material follows the letter on the code: “A” after the model is stainless steel 201, “B” is 304 — for example OHLHC-200A is 201 and OHLHC-200B is 304.

The stay carries the sash, so the maximum weight printed here is a limit, not a target. The same stay in stainless steel 304 carries the same figures under the B code (for example OHLHC-200B-14).

Three things decide whether a part fits: the profile it is screwed to, the sash it has to carry, and the set it belongs to.
- Choose the stay from the sash width and weight first, then confirm the opening angle you need at the window.
- Window limiters restrict the opening angle and keep the sash where it is set; the connecting bar can be separated for cleaning, as printed in the catalogue.
- Fixing positions follow the assembly dimension table for the stay model — A to L on the catalogue drawing.
